Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real ~ The Weeping Cherry, Sunrise, Bird House, Birthday Party Version ~ 4/18/13

Good morning friends, from my spot  on the web today!
Thanks so very much to

round button chicken

~ Capturing the context of contentment in everyday life ~

Life around our home and  family this week:

<< PRETTY >>
Our Weeping Cherry speaks of spring....
So many seasons of renewal as the kids grew.
It's always there...year after year after year...
Always faithfully budding, blooming, decorating our lives.

<< HAPPY >>
This morning's sunrise in our yard,
as my Kev and I sat on the deck chatting and talking of the day ahead.
It was a bit nippy though!
But lovely.
No sounds save for the birdsong, a distant car periodically
and the clatter of our mugs on the table.

<< FUNNY >>
Anyone home?
Checking out the birdhouse he made with his Dad during Holy Week.
Yes, he's up there on a ladder about 20 feet high....
Gotta see how the sparrows decorated their new digs.

How on earth did this happen?
A teenager?
13 fast and loved filled,
at times rather challenging years.
His invitation to be sent to a few friends for a backyard gathering
on a (hopefully) nice night in May.
Music, fire pit, friends gathering, treats.
Goodie bags will be filled with these chocolate "13s"
as well as other "lucky" items...
dice, decks of cards, poker chips.....

Thank you friends, for stopping to visit and share our week!

Have a  lovely, peaceful and productive day.

Until next time,

..and please:
