QQQuench Your Thirst Anywhere! {A to Z Blogging Challenge }

We're big fans of road trips here in this family,
 camping and seeing America first.
We travel oftentimes about ten thousand miles
in a given summer...... and if you're a regular here,
{ thank you for that! }
you know we often opt for the road not taken.
Which means luxuries such as...you know.....
running water and electricity ( ahem ! )  are not abundant....
at least not all the time.
This may not seem like everyone's cup of tea.
But it IS the way to frugally and thoroughly
and memorably, see the US!

Well, in certain situations throughout our numerous years of
travel, a nifty little gadget called
 Life Straw would have come in very handy.
This summer,  we'll be prepared by packing it in with our camping gear!
We've obtained one, found it immensely practical and I'd LOVE
to share it with you~~
These are the benefits of Life Straw for travelers:
  • Filters up to 1000 liters of contaminated water WITHOUT iodine, chlorine, or other chemicals
  • Removes minimum 99.9999% of waterborne bacteria. Ssurpasses EPA standards for water filters
  • Removes minimum 99.9% of waterborne protozoan parasites.
  • And the advantages of Life Straw in general? It comes in a sealed bag, perfect for storing for emergencies at home or on the road.

Also, practical and convenient?   The lifestraw bottle.....

I was really excited to stop in and share my finding with you!
Let me know if you, too, decide to go with this
super sensible solution to drinking water issues on the road!

  1. Sounds great for camping. I wonder if it would have filtered out the parasites from the water in Guatemala where I grew up.
