Give ~ 31 Days of Adirondack Memories < #write31days >

Welcome to day 21 of my
"31 Days of Adirondack Memories" series
for the #write31days challenge!

For the weekends inside the 31 days challenge,
I'll be sharing a "scrapbook" of sorts on a special

place within our Adirondack journeys over the decades.

Today ~ memories of the calm, peaceful fishing
ventures, whether from shore, dock or boat, during summers
spent at Adirondack lakes.

Today's theme~~

Lines strung, baited, dipped through lake's mirrored surface

Contentment, memories, happiness given at simplicity in luring  a catch,
mainly in just being ....

Quiet togetherness from shore or on dock......
Dawns, afternoons, dusks.......each one softly hugs sun's
soft rays and plays on glassy waters for occasional comfortable talk,
rhythmic rowing,
 lines whirring,
bait dropping
And always  pike and sunny are freed and returned home
sweeping gracefully away,
 tail swishing, propelling,
fins shimmery as quartz

Sun kissed little boy  shoulders and noses,
 hours on  bright lake

Santa-gifted fishing poles last Christmas,
lake memories forever

And the exuberant exclamations of "I GOT ONE!"

Incidentally, The Five Minute Friday Book is available for purchase!
~~ I'm honored that one of my stories is  included within~~
