Try ~ 31 Days of Adirondack Memories <#write31days >

Welcome to day 14 of my
"31 Days of Adirondack Memories" series
for the #write31days challenge!

For the weekends inside the 31 days challenge,
I'll be sharing a "scrapbook" of sorts on a special
place within our Adirondack journeys over the decades.
Today, horseback riding memories from past summers~

 Today's theme:
Try

Today, memories of visiting
North Pole, New York, Santa's summer home
(yes you read that correctly!)
nestled deep within the Adirondacks....
not terribly far from  Lake Placid.

Try to re-live ....re -imagine

......endeavor to find those forgotten magic moments from the past

.....strive to capture it all and savor childhood's fleeting space in time

......... love it all...every minute.......
Christmas parades in August...

visits with elves by the lake....

 feeding  Santa's eight reindeer
as they ready for their winter's trip......

The magic of Christmas

the balm of these mountains to the soul

=
perfection.

  1. They were so little. It's amazing how fast childhood goes.

    1. Yes! Isn't it amazing? Seems a lifetime ago when they looked like this too!
