~~THE TRIBUTES~~
(AKA the party guests we were lucky to host!)
Finnick
Katniss and Cato
Peeta
Effie attended as well, but I goofed and did not grab her picture throughout the evening!! Sorry, Ms Trinket! You looked smashing!!
Here's Gale turned DJ Cato again----It seems the tributes formed a conga line to let loose some of the HG related stress........
Could that be a Prim sighting?? Hmmmmm ;0
~~A few other scenes of the evening~~
A few tributes participated in Katniss's Archery Event -- shooting balloons with the Birthday Boy's handmade bows and arrows:
Some tributes got "decorated" at Peeta's camo table:
Story telling by the fire
As he offers them parting gifts for participating:
Square tags on favor bags and straw quotables were obtained at Courtney's lovely site! Are't they awesome?
Well, this was one very happy and rather wiped - out TEN year old boy at the end of his dream Hunger Games party night! His friends and their families are the best. We were quite lucky to celebrate with them all. Timmy suggested the food and the events; I just took his lead.

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen a party with so much clever detail. I admit that I don't know a thing about the Hunger games, but it looks like you covered everything! :-) Awesome job!
ReplyDeleteLisa~Thanks so much...and you might wish to try the HG with your kids...I really think you will be gripped! There are also many many compelling parallels between The HG and Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar." They can be read side by side...with your creativity and knowledge of History, you might find that this is right up your alley!
DeleteHave a great day!
Chris
